Junior Lifeguard Camps
Also known as Jr. Lifeguard Swim Camp
Background
Edit
Junior Lifeguard Camps are designed to help students ages 8 and older to prepare for Junior Lifeguard try-outs.
Each year hundreds of students try-out for Junior Lifeguards and fail to meet the swimming requirements. This swim camp allows students to get into the pool and get a head start on summer. Coaches spend time working on stroke technique, strength and endurance. It’s not uncommon for swimmers to improve 10% to 20% in and eight week period at the camp.
Generally, camps are held two, three or four days per week and last for one month.
