Softball To Host Hitting Clinic In November 2008

The clinic is for girls 13-18 at the Charles L. Cost Center.

PITTSBURGH — The University of Pittsburgh softball program will conduct a two-hour hitting clinic on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 9 a.m., at the Charles L. Cost Center. Registration for the clinic is now open for girls aged 13-18.

The hitting clinic is scheduled from 9-11 a.m., in the Cost Center— the squad’s indoor facility. The clinic is designed for any player who desires to compete on the collegiate level and costs $50. Participants will be taught proper fundamentals in hitting and bunting.

Pitt’s softball team members and Head Coach Holly Aprile’s coaching staff will be on hand for instruction. Bats and helmets will be provided if needed.
