The Heart of Texas Aquatics Team (HEAT), located in Waco, TX
Seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Coach (Full-time) in November 2008. This position will work primarily with novice, beginner and intermediate swimmers of all ages and assist with the coaching of the top training groups as well. Some US Masters coaching and other support duties will be required as well. This position will report directly to the Head Coach.

The Heart of Texas Aquatics Team operates out of an 8 lane, 25 yard pool at the Waco Family YMCA. The team is part of the North Texas LSC (comprised of teams mostly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area). HEAT also competes in meets in the South Texas and Gulf LSC’s due to its proximity to those locations.

The mission of the Heart of Texas Aquatics Team is to provide a quality year round swim team for the communities of Central Texas that will be capable of competing at all levels of the sport and promote the lifelong values of discipline, goal setting and good sportsmanship through excellent coaching.
