In just over a decade and up to 2014, at least 13 wrestlers have died by suicide (Crash Holly, Mike Awesome, Chris Benoit, Devil Bhudakahn, Adam Firestorm, Tony "Ludvig Borga" Halme, Chris Kanyon, Andre Baker, Shawn Osborne, Larry Sweeney, Brain Damage, [[Mike Graham\\ and Sean O'Haire), several of whom were known for their willingness to take unprotected chair shots to the head and do other dangerous in ring stunts, whilst both Halme and Sean O'Haire went into combat sports after their professional wrestling careers were over and both suffered multiple defeats by knockout.
